Photographer’s Note
The snowcapped plateau of Mesa Verde can be seen against the horizon, at left. The big arrow is part of a Wild West theme park, near Cortez. This area is a mile above sea level, & the plateau is about 8000 feet above sea level so the polarizer has accentuated the blue sky.

Hello Chris,
The giant arrow makes an interesting and apt addition and contributes much to the feeling of depth. Lovely natural looking colours and superb clarity.

Hi Chris,
Very nice on, I like it. the sky is so perfectly blue, the air seem clear allowing you such an unobstructed view, great details on the plateau with some snow, strong light but you manage it well with good balance and contrasting colors. sure is nostalgia of the wildwest.

HI Chris
No idea how much 8000ft is, and it depends on foot size anyway ;-) But the image is nice and the sky superb
Have a nice day JY

Dag Chris,
This must be the land of the Indians. I like this big arrow in this fascinating landscape.
This week I was to an hilarious screenplay of a befriend actor where he was playing an Indian. Your picture should have been an appropriate décor.

Bonjour Chris,
un endroit vraiment très spécial que tu nous offes avec un ciel d'un bleu magnifique, il doit faire chaud là bas.
Un excellent cadrage pour moi avec ce chemin repoussé à droite et de la profondeur avec ces basses montanges en BG
Best regards.
Daniel.

The famous arrow makes and excellent lead-in to this lovely vista.

Hi Chris,
The curve of the road is an asset to the composition. The trees and the arrow are framing well the road. The point of view takes our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.
