Photographer’s Note

An early morning view from our hotel balcony at Far View lodge inside the Mesa Verde Natinaol Park. I took a lot of pictures from this balcony from early morning to sunset and evening times. My wife and I spent 4 days and 3 nights here. In this lodge there is no telephone, no TV, no cell phone signals and no internet. i used HDR process for this photo.

This park is not only about the natural beauty of nature but it is about the American ancestral past, the American Indians. The time before the English and the Spaniards started to influence the native American Indians. This place is sometimes called the World of Mesa Verde people. Mesa Verde is in south western Colorado. The park covers 52,121 acres of finger-like mesas cut by steep-walled canyons. Tucked into sandstone alcoves. In these canyons are more than 600 cliff dwellings, for which the park is best known. I will show phots of these in my future postings.
