Photographer's Note

The road up to Glade Park offers a great overview of Grand Junction. Mount Garfield, the uniquely shaped peak near the center of the photo, is part of the Book Cliffs, the steep ridge that lines the western side of the valley. From afar, one can imagine that the washed out sides of the barren ledges looks like a bookshelf with a large collection of books.
