Hello TE members,
I ventured recently to the colorful state of Colorado where my sister lives. I then traveled to Ouray County to see the fall colors as it is higher elevation than Glenwood. This view of the trees was taken near Ridgeway, Colorado in Ouray County. Ridgeway is located at the northern entrance to the San Juan Scenic and Historic Byway, the same highway that goes to Telluride. It is also located in the Uncompaghre Mountains(don't worry, that word is a mouthful to pronounce) with both the San Juan's and the Cimarron Mountains surrounding it. I think I was probably about a week too soon for the peak color season but that is okay. I saw a lot when I was there. It snowed and rained one day and then the next was blue sky and pretty. Temperatures ranged from 23F. degrees at night to 63F. during the day.
Please enjoy my photo.
