Another shot of the Great Sand Dunes National Park. This was taken mid-afternoon, and I used pp to bump up the contrast and increase saturation a bit (via curves), as well as adjust the color of the sky (I tried leaving it slightly blue for a more natural image, but this coloring seems to work better for me). If you look at the lower left dune, you can see sand blowing across the dunes - winds were gusting very strongly when I was trying to take this photo! Also, on the right-hand side you can see tracks made from fellow visitors on their way to the highest dune (each track is 3-4 feet wide from multiple people taking the same path). Hope you like it!

a brilliant natural contour of the sand dunes.
Great composition with dense and sharp colours. The texture is great too.

another great shot, the rolling waves of the dunes remind me of a flowing silk scarf. I'm a bit crazy as far as it comes to deserts and sand dunes (love them), so no wonder this shot caught my eye. beautiful colours, good job with pp in bringing them out without loosing the textures of the sand.
