The lake by Georgetown, Colorado was absolutely perfect for a mirror shot this morning in the fall of 2001. My wife is the actual photographer, but she is too lazy to have an account or do the PP. The before version is nice, but a little watered down with a 50/50 composition, but there is enough detail in it to get the picture to look like the scene we saw that day.
Georgetown is an old mining town you drive up to the mountains from Denver. It is located at an elevation of 8530 feet, and was once the center of the mining industry in Colorado. The area around Georgetown is so beautiful that I return to it time after time in my photos.
