Photographer’s Note
I was in Durango Colorado over spring break about a year and a half ago and was out enjoying the winter wonderland that was going on around me. Happened upon this house that had two of my most favorite old cars sitting in front. It just stuck out at me for some reason. Hope you enjoy

Funny, a funny one. White and red contrast each other so well. Snow that makes a difference. Well seen. Sothy
PS: I am about to complete and turn in my exam. The deadline is tomorrow at 5PM.

Hello Pamra,
I like the colors!! Very bright and vibrant. It contrasts well with the snow on the ground. The cars seem have a bit of personality in the way they are parked towards each other. Reminds me of the movie "Cars". What ISO did you use? That seems like a high shutter speed for f10.
See you at the meeting tonight,
Mel

Charming shot Pam
Very good composition and nice colors.
The interesting part is the red wall+red car and the gray wall+dark gray car.And of course the snow.Funny and "sensitive" the position of the cars
Well done. Best regards Argyris

Hi Pam,
Very interesting picture. I like those old cars partly covered with snow and sunshine between shadows. I guess strong saturation goes well with those reds. Front of the barn looks a bit strange. Is it really that flat grey paint or did you desaturate it?

Hi Palm,
nice and funny:-), what makes it interesting is the saturated colors, that red is very beautiful and the touch of pink of the tyres a little bonus, this all against the gray barn and the white snow.

Hi Pam. Well my first impression on this photo is...the truck is a guys vehicle ( I'm revealing my stereotypes here ) and the bug with purple rims has to be a girls car! Not sure though about the mind bent on young kids in Colorado.. so I cannot say for sure. I do like the composition though. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Pamra,
A Volkswagen against an big fat American pickup...that isn't fair ;-)
Small details like the purple wheels and the ice picks under the VW makes it very nice, just like all the small red parts in the image...very nice.

aahh, Pam, that's funny!
the colors of the wheels of the beetle is awesome! You certainly have a funny side to find such a scene!
I think they like each others and that they are warming up... can't you see the snow melting?:D I think they should hide together in that garage soon...
Have a nice one!
Marc
