Photographer’s Note
driver of the Narrow Gauge Railroad. This train goes from Durango to Silverton, an old mining town. The trip passes along the Animas river and through valleys providing visitors with breathtaking vies. Up to 6 tons of coals are used for the round trip, a great opportunity to experience what steam trains were all about !

Une image d'une autre époque. Le cadrage carré associé au noir et blanc donne une connotation très rétro.
J'adore !

A very nice conversion to black and white with a smooth transition between the tones of gray. My only comment is that the image feels constrained with such a tight crop around the front of the engine.
Thanks for sharing

Super, un petit morceau de l´histoire des chemins de fer américains...
Trés belle prise avec beaucoup de vie et d´amour pour le détail!

Hi, Emmanuel.
Great shot, I like the B&W, it gives a bit nostalgie.
It gives memories to me....

Hello Emmanuel,
Beautiful tone with the suitable contrast for the machine, caught in a good moment with a perfect composition. I like the steam engine taken from this angle, it looks most beautiful.
Regards, Hisashi
