Photographer’s Note

Taken very early morning at sunrise. Not that you can see the sun, but the slight reddish pink color tone, is a result of the warm early morning color temperature. Taken at the back of the Durango Hostel. The snow here is around 4 inches thick.

Salut mon voisin du jour ;o)
Tu es dans le neige aujourd'hui. Ben, moi aussi avec ma Papagolfade.
Sur cette bonne photo, ces tables vides n'attendent que nous, avec un bon chocolat chaud. ;o))
Je préfère quand même rester où je suis en ce moment, c'est-à-dire en Corse où il fait doux et beau.

Hello Chris,
I like the angled perspective along the two front benches and the juxtaposition with the single bench at the end. A good capture of the thick lying snow with this unusual pinkish tinge. Thanks for sharing. Bon dimanche.

It's a big change from when I was there in September! The snow has made some interesting patterns on the wall and on the trees. Your framing placing the picnic tables diagonally works well.

Bonjour Chris,
si cette photo rend bien l'ambiance de l'hiver, c'est un peu dommage que ces neiges soient trop exposées à mon avis. Je pense qu'il y avait moyen d'un peu les nuancer.

4 inch thick snow! The edges of the snow on the table & the chairs seem to have been sawed off! Well composed in a diagonal. The light brown of the wood provides good contrast against the snow. Good work!
