Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken at the Denver International Airport. I was flying back home to Los Angeles after a week of work. I liked the view with no planes in sight. I hope you'll like it too.

Hi Daniel,
Great picture, with perfect POV and composition. You took the best advantage of the lines. The sepia treatment works fine.

Hi Daniel,
I love it. Thoughful composition with low that enhances the wide wide landscape and has a beautiful graphical impact with those patches in different tonalities. There is a superb strong light and your choice of sepia makes this even more beautiful. Lovely clouds at the horizon. Good work, my compliments ! Hope to see more of this place.

Hi Daniel,
I think it's very effective. Not only the lines on the runway but even the clouds seem to converge on a vanishing point set nicely off-centre amongst the distant mountains. The sepia works well to bring out the textures and different tones on the runway and enhances the graphic effect.

ah, that very special feeling you can get only when seeing the runway from a seat in the airplain :) there's either the pleasure of coming home or the excitment of starting a new adventure.
I really like this shot, Daniel, the perspective is captivating and sepia version makes the textures and patterns stand out. very well seen and presented.
take care,
Kristine

I don't know why I like this shot, but something about it appeals to me. The stark simplicity of the lines heading off into the distance, implying travel or movement, while at the same time we are not moving at all. I like the black & white too, which reduces the distractions and makes us concentrate on the structure of the lines. Nice work!

Beautiful minimal composition Daniel, the B&W works very well and the abstract image created from your idea works also well, compliments, great long perspective with lines and sky.

Hi Daniel,
Special PoV rarely available for normal travellers. Piano keys of runway 25, all the signs of rubber clearly visible. Was the plane turning towards direction of takeoff or were you in the cockpit yourself?

Hello Daniel,
the shot was captured especially the corridor, with very nice graphistic way and at the some time a minimalistic one.The verticals lines make your capture 'particular'. The Sepia colour and the light are nice .Informative your note too.Congratulations.
Have a nice weekend,Danos

Hello Daniel! No doubt I like it, I love it to be honest. There is always so much excitement before take-off, when the aircraft rolls out and the controller tells the pilot "rwy 25 ... cleared for take off", and you know there is no return and soon enough you will be above ground. I find it perfect that you can't see a plane at all but nothing else but the long runway. Very very good, Barbara.

Hello, Daniel -
A very effective simple composition; sepia was a good way to go, too, probably better than plain B&W. Great sense of open skies.

Dan
