Photographer’s Note
The composition in this photo may not be quite as strong as yesterday's photo but I had to show at least one of male dancers. Obviously the black dance costume would not have worked very well against the black background so I included this photo with the stage background. Yesterday's photo only required me to remove a small portion of the banner behind the dancer's head. She was in front of the black portion of the stage. I still had to do quite a bit of PS work on this photo though. Portions of the stage looked like a display area in your local hardware store with all of the electrical cables, electrical boxes, storage trunks and distracting aluminum poles. A photographer may have pulled this off without Photoshop with a 600 F/4 telephoto lens on a ladder but he/she would have had their equipment confiscated and would have faced a fine for obstructing the event.
If you watch the news photographers they usually use an 80-200mm VR or IS lens and crop the photo very tightly. I don't have this luxury. I can do this on some of the shots but I need to include some photos of the group together. I take these photos for the dance group, the choreographer and for the parents of the younger dancers.

Hi Stan,
Great capture! Nicely framed action shot, sharp and colourful. I think it doesn't matter that he is dressed in black because the ladies are colourful enough to make him stand out.
Regards.

You did a very good job of cloning out the disracting paraphenalia. The more colourful backdrop and the ladies' skirts do provide a good bg for his black costume. Good timing too for an interesting pose.

Hello Stan -
There is nothing to say but outstanding. My only minor criticism is that it would have been nice to see a bit more of the female dancers faces. Bravo, well done!
Thank you for sharing.

Bonjour Stan,
festif et coloré, plein de vie et de mouvements finements dessinés, les jeux de couleurs sont magnifiques. On lit a joie et l'amusement des danseuses et du danseur.
BIen à toi.

I've been waiting for a sombrero to show up in this series. Nice expression and once again great use of the senoritas dresses. The concho pants go really well too. Another great picture.

Hi Stan, Your series of dancers is excellent & this is one of the best, the colours are amazing & wonderfully sharp showing the mans expression superbly, the outfits are beautiful & your shutter speed is perfect, kind regards Wilson.

Stan - I appreciate your dance photos - in fact I find this more interesting than the new landscape youve posted. Freezing action on stage where your movements are limited is difficult - so I like a good dance shot!
Cheers,

Stan,
I like the composition of this one (we might disagree on this), and how you did freeze the dance.
Good job

Hi Stan,
When I was a young buck my favorite TV show was Zero and this brings back vivid memories even though it was in black and white. The colors here are brilliantly perfect as well as the lively action to the wounderful festive image.

Hi Stan,
The framing of the male dancer with the skirts of the female dancers is very effective. His satisfaction at being the center of asttention is SO true. Detail and color is excellent as well.
