Photographer’s Note
Denver is the 'Mile High city' (5280 feet), & the State capital of Colorado, & the polarized sky here, really shows this. I've only ever gotten a similar intense blue sky, in the Himalayan foothills. The highrise building at left, is the Wells Fargo Building, also nicknamed the 'cash register' building, on account of its shape. It's the 3rd tallest building in Denver, at 698 feet (213 m) tall.

Salut Chris,

Hello Chris,
A pleasantly lit capture of this imposing brick tower. The angle of view works well, emphasising the height of the tower and the surrounding buildings. Good natural looking colours and excellent sharpness to bring out the detail in the fine brickwork.

What struck my attention was the very strong perspective which is a nice choice. Good composition. Well done.

Hi Chris,
The presence of the persons has an effect of scale. The point of view is sending our eyes toward the top of the bell tower which is giving perspective to the photo. The picture is clear and sharp. The quality of the light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

How strange to see that brick church tower between those skyscrapers. Where I live, the church tower is still always the highest building that's why it seems kinda unnatural to me. Very nice composition and good contribution.

The sky is indeed very nice. I always like a deep blue in the sky. The POV is excellent and shows a good contrast in the local architecture. Well done.

hi Chris
Standing that close to a building and shooting upward, I am surprised that the distortion here is mild. A great shot of the architecture upclose and taking full advantage of the bright light, blue sky and 2 people as addition.

Hi Chris,
Very vivid blue sky for these striking downtown buildings to stand against in this effective vertical format.
The folks longing on the brick wall seem in no hurry in this briliant warm sunshine.
