Photographer’s Note
Another view of the massive red rocks of the "Garden of the Gods" just outside Colorado Springs, which is around 100 miles south of Denver, the state capital. Taken late afternoon. I've dodged the shadows a little. Polarized.

Salut Chris,
Encore un superbe paysage du Colorado. Permets-moi de te dire que je trouve les couleurs un peu trop saturées, créant une lumière un peu trop forte sur les roches ocres.
Je ne te dis pas cette fois "excellent travail" ;o))
Have a good sunday my Dear!

Hello Chris,
A good point of view on the rocks helped by the curving road, which draws the viewer into the scene. Interesting colour contrasts.

Hello Chris, you found right balance between shade and light, which gives a superb respect of the colors, the massive red rocks of the Garden of Godsle and are crossing of the oblique plans underlines the swinging of the ground well that I imagine extremely sloping, but it is nevertheless the richness and the size, that one guesses very great dimension, and to photograph under a beautiful light in a very beautiful nature which holds all my attention here, sincerely ...............Hello Chris, tu as trouvé le juste équilibre entre ombre et lumière, ce qui donne un superbe respect des couleurs, les roches rouges massives du Jardin du Godsle et sont croisement des plans obliques souligne bien le balancement du terrain que j’imagine fort pentu, mais c’est quand même la richesse et la grandeur, que l’on devine de très grande dimension, et photographier sous une belle lumière dans une très belle nature qui retient ici toute mon attention, bien amicalement

A very beautiful composition, with the footpath leading off, curving and converging into the distance. What I like also is that I was at the Garden of the Gods in November 2006, there to attend my niece's wedding. The light here is excellent, much better than I saw, and the resolution is impressive.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Chris,
The curve of the road is an asset to the composition. The point of view takes our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth and perspective to the photo. The light is enhancing the colors and is giving them a good contrast. Have a nice day.

Very interesting place, with those incredible rock formations. The beautiful colours don't hurt either! What works really well in this is the way you used the path to lead us into the shot. Well done!

The curving path draws the eye into the scene perfectly. Red rock, green vegetation, blue sky; a true RGB image.

Hi Chris. I think it was good of you to incorporate the path in the picture. It's kind of a manifestation of man's presence here and the curve give an extra dynamic to the picture. The environment as such is very beautiful. tfs!

Bonour Chris,
ciel et couleurs à l'honneur sur cette composition qui une fois de plus me semble un peu surexposée , certains détails s'effecent, comme dans les nuages ou cette roche orangée.
Excellent POV et cadrage.
Regards.
Daniel.
