[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A solitary tree after a recent snowfall. As I was driving to this location a radio announcer informed me it was 4 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and I believe him (my lips went numb by the time I walked to the spot to get this photo.)

If you view the google map in hybrid view you can actually see this lone tree. It's basically due north of the place marker, and is the only tree on that part of the hill (no creative cropping of the scene needed!)

Hi Curtis,
Beautiful shot with hardly any colors but contrast with the dark green tree. I like the snow and the sky almost the same. Great POV.
Thanks
Julie

Hi Curtis
Simply, lovely...
Good composition;)
regards, Gosia

I like this shot. I love the solitude.

I don't know why but it reminds me of what I imagine a Dr. Seuss scene might look like. It must be the lack of straight lines. Well done
