[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is from a shoot at the Aurora Reservoir just east of Denver, CO. It was shot for developer to use in advertising their new community.

I used a Lee graduated ND.3 soft. I normally would darken the sky or background in post production, I decided to use the filters on this shoot due to the number of images we were taking that morning. It cuts down the post production costs to the client.

The trick here is the fact that Aurora Res is located on a flat piece of land. The client wanted to show some of the areas that would be good to hike around.

They like this one very much.

hi vic...
this place and your shot is great!
the pleasant colors are very attractive... i love the top landscape rather than the flowers in foreground... i've a w/s....
greetings...

Excellent PoV Vic, very interesting shot, the sky is telling a lot of stories in your photo, and so are the shadows in the water. I love the orange bit of flowers that you included they definitely increase the face value of the picture.

Vic,
This looks like a painting. The filter you used along with wonderful lighting has made a remarkable photo. The colors are sharpness are great as well.
TFS,
Asa

A nice landscape setting Vic including some fine details well placed in the compo. Bit too much light in the middle right but the total still works, not least by the fine use of the foreground details like the grass and red flowers(?) Interesting work

Hi Vic: I came to your page following the discussion on copyright, and found this image. Beautiful colors, and excellent composition of what could initially have been a rather unpromising view. Using the river bank to lead the eye in is very effective, and the tress then complete a nice S curve.

Olá Vic!
Wonderful colors and light. The sky is excellent and the flowers add even more charm to the photo.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
