This is part of Roaring Fork river. The river is a popular destination for many outdoor enthusiast. The Roaring Fork offers some of the finest fly and lure fishing for trout in the United States. It is also used by whitewater rafters.

Rob, you've captured the sweep and drama of the busy river with style and technical acumen. Good mastery of the shutter, good tight composition, good use of line and color, and you've succeeded in making us want to be there.

Very nice photo. My water photos never turn out this well. I like the contrast of the aqua water colour and the green trees. The "rusty" coloured rocks on the left side (mid-frame) look interesting also. Nice.
