Hello, well I like rocks alot so this photo captured my interest. You have chosen a low point of view looking up at the hole in the rock. Excellent dof and sharpness. Rocks are hard to photograph in the sense that what the photographer sees isn't necessarily what the viewer will see, but the lines and diagonals you captured add alot of interest.

One of my favorite places to shoot photos is Joshua Tree N.P. Great sky, nice point of view and it sort of looks like an elephant seal with its nose way up in the air.

I have a shot of this same rock formation but from a slightly different angle and different weather conditions.

Hello Dara,

This is a simple, yet well-executed and interesting image. I like the hole in the rock in the centre, with the diagonal lines stretching around it in different directions (the contours of the rock and the clouds). The natural colours are very nice here.
