Hola Emile,
The perfect shot to argue for peace and when I see all of these crosses I think of how many more have died on the other side. You have managed this scene better thn any I have seen of such displays: framing it on the diagonal with the inclusion of crosses illustrated with photos and the couple pausing at a special cross make the work very heratfelt.

Hola Emile,
Aprovechaste muy bien el efecto gráfico de las cruces sobre la arena. Las personas acentúan la atmósfera conmovedora y de respetuosa del lugar. Estan muy bien posicionadas en la compo, y el mismo se pasa con la bandera mayor al fondo. Además, me gusta ver los barcos y los arboles.
He andado terriblemente ocupado y eso no me permitió participar em esta iniciativa tan meritoria.

Wonderful shot; perfect for the theme. You have framed it perfectly using the many lines of perspective to take our eye to the large flag. What better way to campaign for peace than to see the senseless loss of life.

Hola Emile,
buena aportación al tema de Achim, esta foto tiene un gran simbolismo y mucha tristeza, y nos inspira un fuerte sentimiento de deseo de paz en todo el mundo.
La pareja en medio de este gran campo de cruces, como rindiendo homenaje a algun muerto en una guerra, quizá un familiar, y el fuerte grafismo geométrico de las pequeñas cruces muy bien alineadas, dan una gran fuerza visual a la composición.
Excelente trabajo, muy apropiado al tema.

It`s not too late too write to this good shot and Achim`s theme.
A good and sad image,showing the result of this stupid war,but I think at this beach is not enough space to place crosses for all killed Iraqu people....
I`ve seen another shot of this place long time ago,do you know a website of this place.I think the crosses are only there at the weekend.
