Photographer’s Note
Yes!!
It's a golf ball! And it's a golf course!!
The place looks very harsh. It's a huge field full of strange stony volcanic formations. Located in Death Valley in California, may occur bizzare for a hiker.
But the name of the place is appropriate. Although I haven't met devil there:-)
The ball is mine, the rest is natural:-)

Hi Kris
A brilliant composition.
The placement of the ball reminds me of some of the games of golf I have played. Always in the rough!!
Great colour and light.red

Hello Kris,
Is it a real golf course ????
If not, your tittle is perfect and very funny !
If it's a real one, good luck to the players.
Your shot is a good idea, nice low POV.
Very efficient.
Well done !

Bonjour Kris,
Eh ! ben dis donc (intraduisible). Je n'avais jamais vu un terrain de golf comme celui-là, ils sont forts ces américains, j'y suis passée tout près l'été dernier et je l'ai raté, mince alors.
Bonne idée et composition de belle qualité.
Amitiés
Martine

Hi, Kris the Devil's Golf Course is a pure salt. About 2000 years ago there was a salty lake here. As water evaporated over the time the lake became saltier and then crystallized into formation shown on the picture.
Great photo...

Why the hell did you traval with a golf ball in the middle of the Death Valley??! Haha ;-)
I wish you had added a red golf flag in the background to make it even more real ;-)
Is it another of your ideas you get after drinking a beer? Then keep drinking!! haha
Excellent!
Vincent
