The Santa Monica Pier is an internationally known structure, full of amusement park rides and food. A meeting place, and a place full of fun for both locals and tourists alike, this 100 year old pier shoots out into the Pacific Ocean from the coastline of this up-scale Los Angeles area city. It's been seen in countless movies and TV shows, and even re-created in many modern video games that have taken place in Los Angeles, or a city based off it.
