An evening photo of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, with the city of Oakland lighting the shore below the bridge.

The camera was placed on a post next to the bay, and the photo was taken leaving the shutter open for 16 seconds.

Great shot Russell. Like how you can see the clouds in the dark sky. The soft yellow is wonderfully captured here.

Took the opportunity to crop and try the color correction feature on my free software. Hope you like the WS I created.

Beautiful shot Russell - the lovely lines of the bridge are very well captured. I definitely like your crop here - imo the reflections are enhanced by the inclusion of the dark foreground, and I like the sense of space around the bridge.

beautiful bridge and very good light reflection on the water. it seem that there is a good moonlight as well. hope you can include that as well IMO it will make it better composition....rgds

Lovely colours, the soft yellows and golds against the black. The composion is great- I appreciate the balance of colours and shapes above and below the waterline.

Very nice shot Russell!!!...

I just crossed this bridge a few weeks ago heading into Napa Valley... too bad when your driving on it the view is not as beautiful as your photo...

The lights are crisp and clean, and the reflection on the water is awesome... the 16 secs probably seemed to take forever...

I also agree with a few of the other members, cropping just a bit of the top and a little bit more of the bottom might be a possibility...
