Photographer’s Note
The Bristlecone Pine lives high in the Sierras of California. The weather is harsh, with the bending winds that give a stark beauty to the shapes and forms that exist there. It is remniscent of life, and yet, these survive for thousands of years. Is there a broader lesson to be gained or learned? That is for each person to answer to themselves.
