Photographer’s Note
This was taken from the boat on our way back from visiting Alcatraz. It was late in the afternoon which gave a lovely colour to the sky and helped with the lighting of cell block on the top of the island.
Had it been a little later then the Golden Gate bridge may have been a little clearer but as it is I like it almost hidden away in the background.
PP included levelling the horizon and cropping out a large of ocean at the bottom of the photo. Also some reduction of shadows on the island to highlight the green of the trees.
