There's also a few yachts, & even a speedboat, that give some idea of the massive scale of this iconic bridge.

"The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the opening of the San Francisco Bay into the Pacific Ocean. As part of both U.S. Route 101 and California State Route 1, it connects the city of San Francisco on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County. The Golden Gate Bridge was the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed during the year 1937, and has become an internationally recognized symbol of San Francisco and California. Since its completion, the span length has been surpassed by eight other bridges. It still has the second longest suspension bridge main span in the United States, after the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in New York City. In 1999, it was ranked fifth on the List of America's Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects."

Dobar dan, kod nas je danas suncan.
Covek je stvorio mnogo velikih gradjevina, u vreme kad je napravljen bio je cudo. Opis, istorijat i ova vrlo dobra fotografija, pokazali su svu velicinu. Dobar trebutak.

The diagonal line of the Golden gate bridge is an asset to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the bridge and of the tugboat. The colors are enhanced by the quality of the light. Have a nice day.

Un énorme pont bien d'aplomb dans une image très haute. C'est très bon mon Ami. Le rouge des piliers et tabliers contrastent bien avec ce beau ciel bleu. Le remorqueur donne la dimension de l'édifice.

Hi Chris,
Great colours, I believe this bridge was designed purely for photographers. Also a very good POV where the size of this bridge is quite obvious. I believe most pictures of this famous bridge is taken from the other side, right opposite, to get the sunlight covering the west side of the construction. But this is really good enough!
