Photographer’s Note
This photo was one of many that I took at sunset on this evening. What makes it slightly unusual however is that this was actually taken as an after-thought.
I had packed up and was leaving thinking that the light had gone, I glanced back and saw some potential so set up again a shot a few final exposures (though you'd never really think it as the exposure is so long it certainly appears to be far lighter than it really was).
This is not a true panoramic, but a 3x2 cropped to try to focus the viewer on the bridge and the rocks (and hopefully the reflection in the sand). Only other PP was the normal RAW adjustments.

Hello Paul,
belle vue de ce golden gate qui s'inscrit très bien dans ce panoramique. Le cadrage est esthétique avec l'eau et ces rochers de premier plan.
Bravo , Cyrille.

Welcome to TrekEarth Paul!
Brilliant shot, excellent composition, relatively sharp detail and nothing over/under exposed. One big thing though for shots such as this Paul, you need to ensure the horizon is perfectly level (unless going for an obvious artistic 'twist' so to speak). Click this link for an easy fix that I use.
All the best!

Hello Paul,
Photographed a zillion times, but your photo stands out because of the original point of view, the soft natureal colours and the milky presentation of the ocean shore.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Simple but nice composition, very well balanced. The colours are very nice and the effect on the wet sand and the water is really great. Well done!
hanks for sharing,
Darek
