Photographer’s Note

Mist trail start at shuttle stop 16, is 9 kms round trip (and 570 meters positive elevation) and take 3 hours without a stop. This trail is one of the most did because it go back up the merced river and pass near 2 falls, Vernal and Nevada. Finish line is on top of Nevada fall overviewing a part of Yosemite valley and on south side of Half Dome.
If one day you go there, take care on what's following: Trail isn't call "Mist trail" hazardously.
By continuing on right side, you go directly into the mist and you pass in a few seconds from hot to cold. Temperature range is important and even if there only 200 meters to cross, and even if you go fast, you will be well wet. You're warn!!

sorry, my response to your critique is a bit late, but better late than never, right? ;-)
I really regret I couldn`t visit Yosemite, it`s such a great N.P. and your shot is absolutely beautiful. That blue sky is too good, it looks amazing and the vertical framing suits very well, sharpness and colors are great, outstanding!

The vertical format was an excellent choice to show those wonderful falls! They look impressive! Low pov helped!
Colors are beautiful! Light was pretty well managed! The view is very very nice!

What a stunning shot. Beautiful, rich colors and the exposure looks perfect. I like your composition and how the mist from the water rises off the rocks at the bottom of the falls.

This is another really nice picture of a beautiful waterfall. I like the colors that make a nice contrast to each other a lot and you chose an excellent point of view.
Very nice sharpness and quality and an amazing clear blue sky, I like that very much!
