Photographer’s Note
6:45AM - 30 degrees F. On the way to an early morning shoot at Valley View, I couldn't resist the mist rising on a meadow near Yosemite Falls. The cliffs in the background rise 3000-4000 feet from the meadow. This image is totally unretouched. This is how I remember it and how I wanted to share it with you.

What a serene image. I actually thought it was a lake or a river before I read your note.
I really appreciate the unretouched image, but I think you can increase the contrast or darken the overexposed areas in order to see the contours of the snow.

It is a photo which shows well the climatic conditions , and I believe that it was the required goal. Well done!

Nice composition. I can feel the cold! However, I think that cropping the bottom would remove some of the glare created by the snow in the foreground.

This is a beautifully serene image. Even though the snow is overexposed I don't think it detracts too much from the composition. Well done.
