Photographer’s Note
My buddy and I resolved to get up early after a cold night camping out to see sunrise over Yosemite Falls. This shot was taken before sunlight impinged directly on the waterfall.
P/S: Thank you guys for the constructive suggestions. This RP version has been sharpened.
P/P/S: I've posted a wider angle shot including both the Upper and Lower Falls in the workshop.

Hello,
This new version is perfect for the sharpness. The change is well visible on the tree. It was worth to proceed.
It is much better now and the picture is really nice.

Hello Seb,
An unusual and beautiful view with the waterfall appearing in blueish colours in the deep shadow.
Well done;

Hi Seb,
Did not saw the previous one, but this looks very nice in colour (love that blue toning in the background) and contrast between the bright warm green and the colder blue in the back.
The tight framing with the tree on the right also works very good for my eyes...a nice one from this famous park.

Henk

Bonjour Seb.
J'aime beaucoup la cascade et son environnement immédiat bleu. L'arbre en premier plan fait ressortir par contraste les bleus de l'arrière plan. J'aime bien également la photo du WS.
Excellent travail !

Hello Seb
Wonderful image of the falls, I liked the original wide version better. By doing the crop, you have lost sharpness and color. Try and crop with your zoom lens. Take many different angles, and sizes using your lens. You can never take enough images. Your work is very nice. Have fun

Hi Seb,
what an opportunity to have visited this palce. A famous icon in landscape photgraphy - Yosemite.
You have depicted it very beautifully and in great view. The pine tree is very details and it gives a good visual impact to the yes.

Foozi
NB: Yes, the island that you mentioned is Pulua Perhentian. I guess you must have been there. I took the photgraph from Bukit Kelauan, near Kuala Besut. The jetty to P. Perhentia.

Hello Seb
What a beautiful shot!
I enjoy the contrast between these impressive falls and the flimsy pine tree and their sharpeness.
Best wishes

Hello Seb,
This good but the wider version IMO is better.
I think this has less depth than the wider one. In comparison to the workshop photo, what lacks here is the selective focus with the tall tress on both sides that triggered the appeal. The surrounding forest that gives more density of the waterfalls which appears to be more inviting the viewer towards the subject.
Though I can see the waterfalls upclose with less contrast in the background and give less sense of depth making it appear flat. The good thing here is the colour tone, the mist and softeness that gives a unique visual at Yosemite.
Nice presentation both different.

Hello Seb,
I like both photos, this one has a great diffused feeling making the atmosphere unique and the tree adds a very good DOF. The light management is very effective.
Greetings from Greece, Vasilis.

Very good photo! I like the dramatic nature of the shot, and the vertical aspects all working together.

Hello Seb
Difficult to choose between the main poast & the workshop one. Like this one for the difference in colour & luminoscity with the sunlight from the right bathing the tree while the BG is a misty blue. Good work...taking a long look I might just be in slight favour of the WS shot!

Seb Ku:
Simple and effective, with good contrast,
but it is much better the second on "WAS"
should be presented as the principal.
Un saludo.
