Photographer’s Note

This is other shot of Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is home to countless waterfalls. The best time to see waterfalls is during spring, when most of the snowmelt occurs. Peak runoff typically occurs in May or June, with some waterfalls often only a trickle or completely dry by August. Storms in late fall rejuvenate some of the waterfalls and all of them accumulate frost along their edges many nights during the winter. I went to the park in late november and it's wonderful to see them.

Esta es otra fotografía del Parque Nacional de Yosemite. En Yosemite podemos encontrar innumerables cascadas. La mejor época para verlas es durante la primavera, cuando se produce el deshielo. El nivel más bajo de agua suele presentarse en mayo o junio, con algunas cascadas a menudo con muy agua o completamente secas antes de agosto. Las tormentas de finales del otoño devuelven la corriente acuosa a algunos de los saltos de agua y todas ellas acumulan hielo en sus bordes, muchas noches durante el invierno. Fui al parque a finales de noviembre y es impresionante verlas.

Hola Sergio , uan imagen increible y espectacular. Exceptuando esa zona oscura de la izquierda has hecho una gran composicion con bellos colores y contrastes.

Hi Sergio, beautiful view of this waterfall. Is it Bridalveil Fall? So you were there in better time. When I was in Yosemite in September, all waterfalls were dry:(( splendid colours, beautiful sky and wonderful rocks.

Dear Sergio,

The rock wall is giant! And the fall looks so thin. Is it a river in the end of the fall? I think that a photo close there will be nice too.

I don't know about the black shadow on the left side.
The colors a very pretty as well as the sharp.

I have lots of problems with this new look that I don't like.
The image is really impressive, a magnificent cascade with a great POV and a perfect sharpness.

nice stone textures, this huge rock makes me thinking of a heart (maybe a broken heart with this water in the middle ^^)

Bonjour Sergio.
C'est une chance de pouvoir se promener dans de tels lieux mais c'est également une chance de pouvoir partager sur TE. La photo est très belle avec cette montagne imposante et cette cascade gigantesque. Le premier plan sombre met en valeur le sujet.

Muy impresionante paisaje, muy impresionante toma de naturaleza! Esas rocas tan altas y verticales cortan la respiracion, y la cascada anade mucha belleza e interes! La perspectiva es impresionante y la altura de la cascada debe de ser considerable. Este parque debe de ser casi mágico y una delicia para un fotógrafo.

Espectaculares las cascadas de Yosemite, la verdad es que es un lugar para perderse con la cámara y no parar... lo que posiblemente mucha gente no sabe, es que aún queda una caída similar para que el agua llegue hasta el valle.
