Photographer’s Note
Yosemite Falls is one of the most inspiring sights that I've seen. I have hiked from Tuolumne Meadows to the top of the falls and looked off the edge of this 2,425' wonder, then down into the "Valley", and never forgotten the journey. It is perhaps one of the most, if not THE most, recognized falls in the world.
This image was converted from RAW using PS and a few techniques that I've learned recently that I really love to use. I think the details have been well preserved in both highlight and dark tones. I love it so much that I have it printed (minus the border) and hanging in my office in a 16" x 20" format. I stare at it all of the time finding new details that I've missed before. Once in a while I luck out and get a shot like this.
I hope you like it too!

Hello Steve,
The black and white suits very well to this picture.
Good composition and good point of view : I like it.

Hi Steve,
This is a nice shot, and the use of B&W really focuses your attention on the falls which is where I think you want it. It's a truly beautiful place and I think your image captures some of the scale of it well. The sky's a little dark for me though which I think loses some clarity on the top of the mountain.
TFS and Welcome to TE!
Cheers
Simon
