The Channel Islands National Parks Headquarters is in Ventura Harbor. The gray building houses their operations, staff, and also a portion is dedicated to visitor exhibits and information.
Moored in the harbor are two large National Parks operations boats, but also two smaller 'pursuit boats', the raft hulls with smaller aluminum cabins. What amazes me is the engine power of the two smaller boats. One has twin 350 horsepower engines and the other triple 350 hp engines. Probably for quick response to ocean emergencies, or for pursuit of fleeing law breakers?
Island Packers is also next door to the NP HQ building, providing tours to the Channel Islands for the public.

Nice place, and I would guess that whoever designed this place had an action man when they were a kid, as I am sure I had an action man harbor set that looked very like this!! Amazing power in the boats too, as you mention. I guess probably more for chasing law breakers, that always seems to get better equipment than simply saving lives. The trees on the left are really vivid too.

Like the composition with the mix of palm trees and ships, preceded by your informative note about the engines, must be for emergencies?
Good work, regards
