While cruising on the Island Packers tour boat to Santa Rosa Island, Channel Islands National Park, we motor along the Santa Cruz Island coast. This is one of the many scenes - an anchored sailboat at a sandy cove with its own cave, and a larger water cave on the right.
If I still had my 13 foot Banshee sailboat, I might be tempted to sail here, the 20 miles from the mainland. But then you might see me on TV's 6pm Eyewitness News. Much wiser to sail the Islands in a larger sailboat like the one in the image.

Nice landscape with these mountains, well the detail with the sailboat, good colors contrast with a good light capture.

hello Ray, it must be very pleasant cruise around the island with the views like this. Impressive high cliffs and the boat so small compared to it.

beautiful landscape, such an impressive rock face as out plummets to the deep blue sea below. It was a really great idea to have the boat in the scene, it does a lot too set the sense of scale.
Have a great weekend
