Photographer’s Note
Lake Tahoe in summer time. The lake borders California and Nevada, and sits at an altitude of around 6,000 feet, I believe one of the highest in USA. Due to the altitude, the water is VERY cold (I tried it). The lake is fed by many streams running down from the surrounding mountains, especially in spring when the snow melts. Next post will be a winter scene for comparison.
