Photographer’s Note
Emerald Bay is proably the most photographed place around Lake Tahoe. Two paddle wheel boats cross the Lake and circumnavigate Fannette Island daily from Zephyr Cove, Nevada and Ski Run Marina, South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
This image shows the mouth of the bay above Fannette Is., and off in the distance on the left is the snowy Rose Mountain, which has ski lifts.

Hi Ray...actually it really looks like an emerald in the middle of the lake. Nice shot with very good colors, I like it!
Have a nice weekend!

Hello Ray,
This is really very picturesque bay with coniferous forests and high mountains. It is captured very well, with perfectly good composition (the small island is the best) and quality. Great job!
Best regards,
Sergiy

Hi Ray,
Lovely, subtle colours. I've visited Lake Tahoe over 10 years ago but in the fall so I didn't see any snow there. Good composition with a great depth of field.
Great job, thanks for sharing!
Best,
Claudia

Hi Ray,
Good overlooking pov over the place, and you had a bit of light to raise the highlights using the snow, nice view with required depth for a landscape.
Have a nice day JY
