Photographer's Note
A visit to Death Valley, the second hottest place in the world, is always hot when going in the summer. This time the temperature was around 45 degrees celcius (113 in fahrenheit) when we were walking in the famous sand dunes. I'd wish we could go to the highest one of them, but unfortunately we didn't have time, and of course it was hot, hot, hot!
The weather really made it hard for my camera. I think I had to take the same picture 3 times or so and the camera turned off a few times because of the heat. A new experience for a usually cold Norwegian.

Hello Fredrik,
Quite photogenic scenery,perfect captured.
Nice minimalistic scene with good layout. The lonesome walker with blue shirt brings life in the scenery.
TFS and best regards

Hello Fredrik,
I like the vastness of this scene, and with the person walking by we can really get a sense of how large the sand dunes are. The curves and waves of the dunes are beautiful, and I like the mountains in the distance, too.

Hello Fredrik
Very nice and interesting scene with an amazing desert in the foreground and mountains in the background. Walking blue boy man in the desert is striking. Excellent presentation with good perspective to get strong sese of depth and light management to achieve sharpness, clarity and good coclors
Thanks for sharing
Kind Regards

Fredrik the scale of Death Valley is never realized until one checks out for himself, or a photo includes the human dimension aspect. Nicely framed here...good work.

Hi Fredrik
wow, thats an interesting note about your camera shutting down due to the heat! With my camera, it hasn't shut off yet in the old, but it has severely slowed down, so much that its better just to turn it off.
do you like the heat! haha!
I like the seperation at the top, the mountains in the bg look cooler, with a hint of blue for contrast.
nice shot, see you around.

Hello Fredrik,
this is a place certainly much different from your Norway. I like the dunes thas look almost flattened on the mountains in the background. The color of the sand is surprisingly white.
Beautiful picture.
Regards
