Many moons ago, I talked an attractive young lady into dinner in Hollywood. Hollywood was my 'm.o.', frequently taking dates there for a dinner and a flick at one of the classical theaters. And I even worked there part time on Saturdays, proctoring Los Angeles City civil service exam tests at Hollywood High School.
After dinner I invited her to help me decide on purchasing a used sports car. We narrowed it down to a 67 MGB convertible and a 64 Jaguar XKE. The MGB was in better condition and a few hundred dollars cheaper. So I got me an MGB which was a fun car for two decades. But I still regret not buying the XKE. Now the same models sale for more than most new sports cars.
Maybe Jaguar will do what Dodge did and recreate the same body - the new Challenger is almost the same body design as the 70s one.

An interesting note and also an interesting photo with these classic old cars with all their eye-catching colours. They don´t make cars like this now, so this must have been a fine exhibition.

Les voitures sont magnifiques, ces anciennes voitures présentent toujours un sujet intéressant pour la photo.
Ici vous avez réussi un bon cadrage, bonne présentation dans la diagonale.

Great view of these classics, I don't tend to like old jags, but these are very fine. Oddly, I also don't like brown as a car color but the brown one in the centre here is my favourite of this trio. The light is beaming off the paintwork, they are in showroom condition and your photo is brochure quality. Very nice way to share these old gems.

Nice shot of these jags. From memory I had a ride in a silver convertible, similar to the red one, in the early 70s.

I love Jaguars except for their reliability, they are beautifully designed with smooth lines. Awesome capture of those classics with sharp details. Well done, tfs.

I think they aren't many places where such meeting of Jaguars would be possible. Impressive row of classics. Your angle shows good perspective. Chocolate brown looks surprising choice of color to me.

clearly the red car is the star here.
the brown in the middle is an ugly color - thats why car manufactures DO NOT choose brown today, and the grey/blue is a sweet color but its matte, not shiney or glossy.
I'd prefer the red Porsche in the bg to the right :)
but almost any classic sports car would do :)
funny story in your note, i appreciate that.
love the cars here

I don't even drive and can't explain why I love old cars, I study and admire their designs and am very attracted by vintage car photos. Yesterday I had the opportunity to take some photos myself on Leros. Couldn't identify all the models and asked a friend who knows a lot to help me:) I like very much your approach to this scene, a tight frame with strong perspectives and very attractive colours. The cars look well maintained and interesting. Your presentation is very clear, vivid and inviting. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,
