Photographer’s Note
Disturbing the tranquillity of the wintry grey...
The Sierra-Nevada mountains on the Eastern edge of California accumulate several feet of snow every winter, at least at higher elevations, making them a great playground for winter sports. The downside is that the snow is heavy and wet giving rise to its nickname 'Sierra Cement'.
I took this photo when driving home once from Kirkwood Ski Resort while looking out the back of my friend's pickup truck.

Hi Anand,
Excellent colour balance between purplish light of cloudy afternoon and car lights. Good sense of motion and surprising sharpness from moving car.

Good motion shot Anand. I love the idea--I'll have to try it sometime. It looks like the camera was slightly tilted to the right, but that's easy enough to correct. Otherwise, it's a fantastic shot.

Wonderful, and something eery/foreboding about this shot. (It kind of reminds me of the movie "The Shining." =8)
I'm not sure how you got the quality of motion, especially of the trees, while the road and cars behind seem a little more steady. Nice.
