Photographer’s Note

Sausalito is a cute little rich town in the bay area. Besides the many galleries (see my previous post), restaurants and booutiques, the place is filled with expensive houses. The view to the San Francisco Bay is one of the nicest in the area, but despite all this qualities and the number of visitors it receives every day its gallery here in TE is quite small. That's why I decided to post this other shot from the place showing a little of the houses on the background and the pleaseant walkway along the bay. The day was a little foggy so I worked the sky on PS to get a little more contrast.

Olá Flavia,

puxa essas fotos me fazem lembrar minha viagem de 1997. Lembro muito bem que comi um hamburger delicioso, bem pertinho de onde você tirou a foto. Era um lugar pequeno, não lembro o nome, mas era coisa boa. Gosto do equilíbrio da imagem, com parte da rua, as pessoas e o morro ao mundo. Bem iluminada também. Parabéns!

Well captured with 2 cyclists and owner-dog walk, great light and the bay view. I would just like to see the double yellow lines on the road to go through without a cut. TFS

Hi Flavia. Thanks for sharing in TE the uncommon place in the gallery, though not so uncommon among the locals. The hillocks on one side and the lake (am I right?) on the other and two on cycles and two on foot make a good composition.Regards.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Sausalito! Como eu adoro este local. Se eu fosse milionario, este seria o meu local de escolha em morar neste mundo. A vista deste local e incrivel e eu desci por esta ladeira com a minha bicicleta tambem. Gostei da sua composicao da rau sinuosa com os ciclistas vinso ao seu encontro e a outra pessoa andando com o cachorrinho na direcao oposta. Ao fundo a casa dos milionarios.

Hi Flavia, beautiful view, with amazing light and natural colours, with good quality too. i think about the yellow line on the road ...maybe cut out a part wasn't a good idea. anyway good one.
