Photographer's Note
After walking on this beach, I spent the next couple of months watching scenes in movies and saying, "Hey! That's Santa Monica beach!" This is one of California's most iconic places to visit.
In this shot I tried to detail the structures that make this beach such an eye pleasing place to visit. I love the colors. There were massive fires all along the coast that day causing the air to have a hazy golden tint, so there was a great deal of compensation made in PS during post processing. In the end, I think it came out okay.
I welcome your comments!

Un cadrage idéal... Une vrai carte postale..
Ces immeubles on les a tous vu.. au cinéma dans des clips de musiques...Couleurs vives architecture des années 70...

Hi Steve,
You have captured some really nice colours and a nice light (even if it happened in PS) here. Superb composition, although I might have left a tiny little bit more sky on the top, but that's just an impulse that came to me when I looked at the shot. I really like your frame, too. Usually I'm more in favour of simple black or white frames (or none at all) but this fits the shot perfectly.
Great job, thanks for sharing!
Best wishes
Claudia
