this small boat is docked under the santa barbara pier, owned most probably by the department of parks and recreation of the city to be used only in emergency situations for swimmers and surfers and whoever...
i was tinkering last night with the "tools" on adobe photoshop 7 and came up with this idea/result....

A good idea with the extreme coloring. It might have benefitted from a adding of some noise. A made a ws.

It's very attractive! Those overssaturated colors in a black background are very nice and produce a beautiful efect.
Contrarily to Cato 'limaz', I would prefer some more detail in the boat.

Hi Benedict,

a really interesting result... It reminds me a little to the cover of an Echo & the Bunnymen record: "Ocen Rain". This is a quiet pic but the saturated colors and high contrast give it a violent meaning. Good work!! :)
