Photographer’s Note

We spent the day in Santa Barbara and as we were driving back to the hotel I saw this beautiful view. I just had to take a picture of it. Not perfect, I know, but eventually I get there.

Hi Ildiko,

Somehow I think that the riot of color in the sky was simply missing. So I altered your original image using PS. You can see it in the 'Workshop'. The only idea was to bring out the color, as much as I can; a colorful sky is the essence of a sunset. Hope you like it.

HI Ildiko,
WElcome on TE. The photo is nice, good POV, but it has some noise. To remove the noise, use Neat Image program.

that´s a nice sunset-shot, ildiko! :-)
composition and pov along the street with the dark silhouetted palm trees are really superb.
the colors are ok, the WS is not bad, but too strong.
there is a little noise, maybe from scanning, that can be romoved.
