Photographer’s Note
San Rafael Mission in California is just north of San Francisco. I took it on a day trip north into Marin Country, just exploring. It was a bright, sunny day with no clouds. I only had the 105 lens, which made the crop very tight, but I like it. I find I use a tight crop a lot. The polarizing filter darkened the sky and made the colors pop.
