Should I be standing here?, a photo from California, West

Photographer's Note

Now here is a very rare ocasion in san jose, This storm was at about midnight and striking about every 30 seconds all across the sky. I setup my s40 on a trypod and held the shutter open for 8 sec. I got about every 5 photo. On this shot I got the left strike 1 sec in, and the right about 7 sec. after about 20 min shooting the rain started and I went inside.

I got lucky about the right hand side, you can see the bolt through the tree.

I think I remember that night, this last summer. I really enjoy the ray behind the trees. I also like the combination of the warm color of the buildings and the darkness of the trees. I wish there weren't light poles. Stunnning.

L'eclair dans l'arbre de droite passe devant l'arbre sur sa partie haute puis derriere sur la partie basse !
La foudre c'est abatue sur lui ?
