This may be the first in a series of Golden Gate photos I took in 2001 and 2006. I often make attempts to do something very different with easily recognizable subjects and although this particular shot is not what I would call very different, I do like the way the fog evelopes the top of the bridge. In the future I plan to present different views and photographic uses of this famous bridge.
This image is slightly de-saturated and nothing else was done, except for a very simple frame.

i really like this pov, one unseen before in the many photos of the Golden Gate. the fog adds alot to the picture, giving a lovely mood and feeling of size, giving the impression the bridge is reaching up to the sky and so far into the distance. Very interesting, jez

as a child used to dream about coming to san francisco and watch the golden gate for long long hours, it was for me some kind of monumet which is still alive...on your image probably just awaked from dream which still covers it by fog :) i like it a lot
