An ariel view of San Francisco from an area called ''Twin Peaks'. The street thrusting through the centre is the longest street in the city. I was amused by the funny looking object on the right, actually a telescope but more like a robot! Can I invite you to look through it at the city below?

It's beautiful, very detailed. I love the telescope so tight in the frame. I believe you're looking at Market Street. TFS, Gilbert

Nice composition--the inclusion of the telescope really gives some life to a shot that could otherwise be a little bit bland. Well seen.

Hi Frances - i really like this as well - in partcular I like the way the activity of the main street bisects the image - I've always liked the effect of the way streets cut through the canyons of cities in this way - go and visit one of my favourites here by Emanuela:
The detail of the city here against the haze is really good and although at first I questioned the foreground telescope I actually like it very much - the DOF from your camera has worked really well.
best wishes Kev

Ahhh, Twin Peaks & the view onto Market Street & beyond, I know this place! Good viewpoint & depth of field here, and the inclusion of the telescope is nice too, adding a different point of interest to the scene.

Very clever composition. I like how you have included the telescope looking out at the city. The depth of field is great, with everything in focus. Nice work!

Great view and thanks for the note.
I will be there myself in September, so when the weather is clear i will go up to the Twin Peaks.

Very nice cityscape, the perspective is overlooking the city is stunning. The telescope in the foreground is a nice touch and adds a nice sense of depth. Well done!
