Photographer’s Note
A chinese elderly sleeping near Powell Street in downtown Chinatown. This part of Chinatown where the old timers are relaxed doing their own thing, sipping their hot tea, enjoying a hot noodle soup, and some just take their nap in the middle of the day.
'He seems like he's back home in China, he's contented with much better quality life in the America' says as his nephew looks over his old man while minding his fruit stall.

Dear Keiji
Many many years ago I used to work with color slides and b&w, but then the editors did not anymore request the latter. Now I see your b&w shot, which is very nice indeed. Great sharpness assisted be the sun beams on the face. It must be cold when I look at the jacket of the man. The gray hues are excellent. Well done
Best regards

Hisaishi San,
I appreciate the sense of tenderness you have shown in the tone of your photo & the words.
His contention is very evident from the expression & the lighting you have used.
Thanks,
Prem.
