Considered to be one of the best natural harbors on the west coast of North America, San Diego Bay was colonized by Spain beginning in 1769. Later it served as base headquarters of major ships of the United States Navy in the Pacific until just before the United States entered World War II, when the newly organized United States Pacific Fleet primary base was transferred to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. However, San Diego Bay remains as a home port of major assets, including several aircraft carriers, of the United States Pacific Fleet, and as a result of base closures beginning in the 1980s, facilities in San Diego Bay are the only remaining major naval base facilities still in operation in the entire State of California. There re many ways of crossing San Diego bay and you show us several of them: small boat, big boat, super big boat or helicopter. This basically just blue photo with few but distinct details appeals strongly to me.

a wonderful composition, a scene that's delightful and interesting. I like very much the sense of depth and perspective, the neat arrangement of the vessels and helicopters within the frame. Each element is attractive on its own but the scene they compose together is superb. It's like a choreography and must be rare. I like very much the softness of the warm light and the fine, relaxing blue tones. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

This is a nice maritime scene with different boats and ships. The two choppers add action and their noise was probably shattering the morning calm. The distance on the water gives deepness.

so even when you're not in Las Vegas you get some aircraft in your photos :)
I take it those 2 helicopters are military based? lots of military ships and aircraft in San Diego - I just don't know how close they'll allow you to get to them.
the sailboat seems to be the only ship here that doesn't belong :)
excellent placement of the horizon line, fine light too.

at first it looks like an unequal fight-loney yacht against the U.S Navy:)
But seriously the scene appeals to me much-firstly because itīs very interestin to see military equipment and secondary because so lovely, warm light making the whole scene so pleasant to us.
Have a nice weekend
