San Diego Bay is a natural harbor and deepwater port located in San Diego County, California near the US-Mexico border. The bay, which is 12 miles (19 km) long and 1 to 3 miles (1.6 to 4.8 km) wide, is the third largest of the three large, protected natural bays on California's entire 840 miles (1,350 km) long coastline after San Francisco Bay and Humboldt Bay. The highly urbanized land adjacent to the bay includes the city of San Diego (eighth largest city in the United States) and four other cities, including National City, Chula Vista, Imperial Beach and Coronado.
Considered to be one of the best natural harbors on the west coast of North America, it was colonized by Spain beginning in 1769. Later it served as base headquarters of major ships of the United States Navy in the Pacific until just before the United States entered World War II, when the newly organized United States Pacific Fleet primary base was transferred to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. However, San Diego Bay remains as a home port of major assets, including several aircraft carriers, of the United States Pacific Fleet, and as a result of base closures beginning in the 1980s, facilities in San Diego Bay are the only remaining major naval base facilities still in operation in the entire State of California. Inspiring night shot fresh from the oven!
a once in a blue moon image...
We see so many sunsets, the view of the full moon is totally different, and so gentle on the eye. Love the colours not only of the moon but the sky as well it's nicely balanced good proportions, the main interest and the surrounding detail are finely exposed and full of impact. How beautiful to be at the right spot and time, indeed a magic moment and very peaceful full moon delight, Well done, tfs

The boat is very... BIG... and almost dwarfs the city of San Diego, but the full moon atmosphere is great and the colors marvellous.

Those big vessels are most impressive, Eleu, like a giant that came to town.
Marvelous dusk scenery, the full moon shine in yellow aloft, and city skyline is marvelousely in clear view.
Have a nice new week,

Impressive cruise ship in a pleasant calm and romantic evening light. The full moon in the sky really is the cherry on the cake in this pleasant composition.
have a great day

This is a great presentation showing the gargantuan size of the modern cruise ship. They don't, of course, dwarf the city the way this appears to, but they are SO HUGE and this scene demonstrates their size quite well!
Also (and this is the voice of experience) I recognize the difficulty of exposing correctly for the full moon and also having a usable exposure of all other details. Did you use any tricks (filters, bracketing, etc.)?

This is a nice image of this ship against the city skyline. The moon creates the desired effect. The ship's details are quite sharp. Big ones like this come to Quebec also.
