Photographer's Note

This is the view of the San Diego Harbor and the Skyline from the North Harbor Drive side going towards the airport.
There is a a long walk starting from Seaport Village all the way down to Harbor Island and offers beautiful views to the city.
You can slightly see a cruise ship waiting to sail. Cruise ships this time of the year come to the San Diego Harbor only once a week. But after the month of April we see more and more every day as the cruises are more popular.
To the left of the dock where the cruise ship is, there is a magnificent Caravelle called the Star of India and is one of the most popular attractions to see at the Harbor.
San Diego Harbor is very active due to the mild climate, sunshine and steady temperatures of 26C all year round.
The beautiful breezes favor the sailing boats which come out every afternoon and the harbor is filled with white sails.

Ciao Eleni,
aspettavo la tua fotografia del giorno e mi sono lasciato di proposito l'ultima critica del giorno per didicartela.
Continua la tua avventura nella California e con questa ci mostri un altro spetto di questa terra ricca di sole, ma ben diverso da quello della tua Grecia.
Qui tutto è grandioso e e il paesaggio altrimenti piatto si arricchisce di grattacieli mastodontici. Tutto bello, anche l'azzurro del mare, ma se mi permetti una considerazione, per quanto bello non lo è mai quanto quello del Mediterraneo nel quale mare, colline, roccia e sabbia si incontrano spesso per offrire scenari da sogno.
Questo di San Diego, per quanto bello, è solo una pallida imitazione.

San Diego looks very beautiful, so close to the sea! A very pleasant picture with the line of sailboats in the foreground and the impressive skyline far away. This must surely be the best part of southern California!

Countless vessels from all sizes and shapes, fill the harbour scene, Eleni.
Bright daylight gave a beautiful texture on town high-rises, and the sea in FG.
From this angel it reminded Tel-Aviv in some way...

Hi Eleni,
I looked at the yachts and for a moment it was lovely shot from Greece, but then I noticed the unmistakable skyscrapers on the horizon.... Interesting with nice light and fresh colors. Good proportions and perspective.

That small areas of bright white in the foreground are nice touches as they make lots of different to the overall contrast while the angle gives a great sense of depth where everything seems to work fine to your favour pulling the attention in. A fine shot, Congrats
