La Jolla Shores is a beach and popular vacation/residential community of the same name in La Jolla, San Diego, California. The quaint La Jolla Shores business district is a relaxed, mixed-use village encircling Laureate Park,on Avenida de la Playa in the village of La Jolla Shores.
The beach is approximately 2 kilometres long and stretches from the sea cliffs just north of La Jolla Cove to Black's Beach south of Torrey Pines State Park.
La Jolla Shores meet the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus and Kellogg Park, encompasses the Scripps Pier and borders the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve to the south.
The beach is a popular launch point for kayakers as it is one of the only beach boat launches in the La Jolla area and the fishing kayak you see in the picture is used much by the locals to go gishing in the Pacific.
I visit La Jolla Shores often and take a stroll along this attractive sandy beach. The picture is for Gunnar.

Interesantan tek o plazi sa datim podacima ...
Lep pogled na crveni kajak o plazu ...
Dobar snimak, kontrast, lepe boje.

queste tue foto californiane sono ricche di colore e di buone idee e sono il frutto di ottime composizioni. Questa mi piace moltissimo anche perchè assomiglia ad una mia che ancora non ho pubblicato.
Nitidezza, colore e luminosità il suo maggior pregio.
Singolare anche il soggetto del tutto sconosciuto in Europa, dove la canoa si utilizza solo ed esclusivamente per diporto senza altri utilizzi, quale la pesca.
Complimenti per questa bella proposta!

μια εξαιρετική σύνθεση που συνδυάζει την απλότητα και την αρμονία με μια εκπληκτική, ζωηρή χρωματική αντίθεση. Μια συμβουλή που δέχτηκα κι εγώ στις πρώτες μου φωτογραφίες με θέα στη θάλασσα είναι ότι πρέπει να προσέχουμε πάντα να είναι ευθυγραμμισμένος ο ορίζοντας. Μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ το βάθος και η αίσθηση χώρου και ελευθερίας. Τα χρώματα και οι υφές σε όλο το κάδρο είναι υπέροχα. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

εξαιρετική η αντίθεση με τις αποχρώσεις του μπλε και το κόκκινο βαρκάκι που 'αναπαύεται' στην αμμώδη παραλία του San Diego.Το λαμπρό φως που πέφτει στο βαρκάκι το κάνει τόσο ζωντανό και συγρόνως τόσο όμορφο.

Great contrast of the red boat, ready for ocean-fishing journey, placed well on pic. space to employ the perfect needed margins from sides.
I had in mind, that the inclussion of the person who is about to sail, would be even more intriguing on image - but only my humble oppinion.

Sorry it took me a while to see this fine picture but this is indeed a very enjoyable view!

A very interesting fishing kayak, I have never seen anything like this before. Furthermore, the bright red colour really add another dimension to the beautiful colours of sand, water and sky.

A well composed picture with the verical rods against the slight diagonal kayak.
